We are pleased introduce our National expert who will present analysis and provide open discussion on the federal and state economies and on housing industry trends in Massachusetts for the upcoming year.
Robert Dietz, Ph.D., is Chief Economist and Senior Vice President for Economics and Housing Policy for the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). Dr. Dietz will provide an economic and housing forecast for 2024. His talk will cover economic issues and current policies and their effect on the economy. Expect to garner key data points on rates, trends, and forecasts for the coming year.
About Our Presenter
Robert Dietz, Ph.D., responsibilities include housing market analysis, forecasting and industry surveys, and housing policy research. Dr. Dietz has published academic research and testified before Congress on the benefits of homeownership, federal tax expenditure estimation, and other housing and economic issues. Prior to joining NAHB in 2005, Robert worked as an economist for the Congressional Joint Committee on Taxation and served as the committee's housing and real estate expert. He is a native of Dayton, Ohio and earned a Ph.D. in Economics from the Ohio State University in 2003.
